Foaming Technique

Stage I
Flush washed surfaces with drinking water at a pressure of up to 30 atm to remove thick and easily removable impurities. For high-fat contaminants, use water with a melting point (about 60 C). In the case of rinsing the vertical and oblique surfaces, the stream of water shall be directed from top to bottom

Stage II
Application of a uniform foam layer of detergent obtained from the foam generator. The distance of the lance nozzle from the surface to be cleaned should be not less than 0.5 m. For vertical and inclined surfaces, apply foam from the bottom upwards.

Stage III
Leave foam for 10 - 20 min on washed surfaces.

Stage IV
Flush the surface with a stream of drinking water at a pressure of 5 - 30 atmospheres.


Economy: With 2 kg of concentrated detergent, 48 dm 3 of water and 450 dm 3 of air can produce 500 dm 3 of foam. This amount of foam is enough to cover about 100 m 2 of foam surface with a thickness of 0.5 cm.

environmental performance:A small unit of detergent consumption means a low content of surfactants and aids in wastewater.

Efficacy and effectiveness: wProlonged contact with detergent (washing-disinfectant or disinfectant) with dirt. This is easy to spot especially on vertical and oblique surfaces. The unpolluted liquid quickly flows off such surfaces. On the other hand, the stable foam "sticks" to them, gradually releasing new portions of the washing solution. In this way, during the foam washing, the surface is covered for a long time with a continuously renewed film of the washing solution.

Accuracy: Thanks to the ease of visual differentiation of foamed or rinsing surfaces, it is not possible to carry out the washing process negligently and inaccurately.

No destructive mechanical action: Due to the low pressure applied (4 - 6 atm), the foam stream does not adversely affect the mechanically treated surface, as is the case during high pressure washing.

Little nuisance: For washing people associated with small (compared to high-pressure washer) with lance's rejection power and slight noisy work of the whole device.

Practically negligible formation of aerosol, both detergent and soiled dirt. These aerosols, which are particularly effective in high pressure washing, move in an uncontrolled way. They may adversely affect workers and production facilities. They can also cause secondary infections and infections. With foam cleaning method such dangers do not occur
